Lauren Finn - PDS Director
Welcome to PDS Hendersonville! My name is Lauren and I am the school director. I’m a proud mom of three and a dedicated early childhood professional with a passion for creating a nurturing, engaging environment for young children. My journey in childcare began in high school, where I first discovered how meaningful it is to support children as they learn and grow. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in a variety of roles, which has given me a well-rounded and practical understanding of early childhood care. As both a parent and an educator, I value the importance of trust, communication, and creating a space where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
As Director, I’m committed to creating a warm, supportive environment where children can thrive, families feel confident, and our staff feels valued. I believe in the power of play, connection, and building strong foundations for lifelong learning.
Ashley Romain - Jr. Kindergarten
My name is Ashley and I attended Beech High School before graduating from Volunteer State University in 2010. I currently live in my childhood home in Hendersonville with my husband, Nick, and our 3 wonderful children: Preston, Ally, and Maddie. Creating a love for reading in my students is my passion. It is very important to instill this at a young age! I look forward to watching your child grow, reach every goal, and move from one milestone to the next.

Becky Jelinek - Pre-Kindergarten
My name is Becky and I have been in childcare for almost 30 years now! I have a wonderful husband named Kyle, and we have two children: Kole, who is now in college in Chattanooga, and Emma, who is in high school. I LOVE teaching! It is my passion, and no doubt where God has called me to be.

Jasmine Britton - Toddlers
My name is Jasmine! I was born and raised in Hendersonville, Tennessee. It is so wonderful to have the opportunity to teach in my hometown! I have been in childcare since the age of 18. I am, also, the mother of three adorable kiddos of my own. I look forward to another wonderful year with some incredible students.

Mandy - Pre-K Aide
As a Pre-Kindergarten Aide, Mandy brings enthusiasm, kindness, and a nurturing presence to the classroom each day. She works closely with the our teachers, and helps create a structured yet joyful learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, build confidence, and develop important social and academic skills. Her attentiveness to each child’s needs, along with her ability to offer encouragement and gentle guidance, helps foster a sense of security and belonging. With a heart for service and a passion for early childhood development, she is an important part of helping your child feel supported, engaged, and ready for the next steps in their learning journey.
